  • Purchase a handbook for your son and review it with him.
  • Set goals with your son and praise him as he achieves awards and merits
  • Help him complete any missed lessons and assignments
  • Ask him what he learned in Rangers and practice with him
  • Add all events to your calendar and ensure your son is signed up in a timely fashion. The easiest may be to sync your calendar with the Rangers calendar. Follow directions on the calendar page.

Get READY for a new Adventure

To better prepare the boy for the Ranger Academy, Rangers Training Camp is offered to boys 9 to 11 years old, but it is not a requirement for earning his Saber. During his overnight stay, the Ranger will gain confidence in his camping skills, learn how to work as a patrol and rely on the unique abilities of every individual in the team. This event is jam-packed with leadership skill tests, fun and games, and team building activities.
