Frontier Adventure Camp is required for men or boys to join the Frontiersman Camping Fellowship (FCF).

Levels of Advancement

Frontiersman Level
- Complete the JLDA Frontier Adventure Camp. Review the Frontiersman Workbook ahead of time.
- Attend at least one other FCF camp, preferably Fall Trace
- Actively attend Royal Rangers
- Men 18+ have a current background check

Buckskin Level
- Complete the Frontiersman requirements
- FCF member for more than one year
- Earn Company Trapper award (5 Outpost+5 Church+5 Community + 5 Missions hours)
- Complete the Buckskin Advancement camp and turn in the completed Buckskin Workbook
- Mentor a new FCF member. Here's how.
- Young Bucks: complete the Adventure Silver Medal or E2 Award
- Old Timers: Complete the “trained” level of leadership training

Wilderness Level
- Complete the Buckskin requirements
- Complete the Wilderness Vigil and turn in the Wilderness Workbook
- Earn Bourgeois Trapper award (10 Outpost+10 Church+10 Community + 10 Missions hours over 2 years)
- Mentor a second FCF member
- Young Bucks: complete the Adventure Gold Medal or E3 Award
- Old Timers: Complete the “Advanced” level of leadership training
